Learning arbitrariness

For several days, the school graduates leaving Turkmenistan to enter foreign universities, the students who are already enrolled in these universities as well as their parents experience confusion and shock. All students and schools graduates without exception are being taken off all transportation means crossing the Turkmen border. Absence of the needed documents, which are allegedly issued by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, is the formal reason for the exit ban.

Prior to the recent «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan» exhibition, I received several letters from journalists of various foreign mass media. All the letters stated that these journalists had managed to get entry visas to Turkmenistan to take part in the exhibition and requested appointments to meet and discuss present day life in Turkmenistan.
